Hi I'm Lyn!
This is me at my desk in Qatar in the Middle East. This is where our 2008 OE began in January and finished in May. It was a challenging and rewarding experience with 6 other Early Years specialists (yes that was our fancy title!) from New Zealand.
I am going to endeavour to record the experience with photos and anecdotes from my time in Qatar and onwards to Egypt and Europe. Hopefully Kerry will help out too and add his wisdom and perspective on things! Kerry came out to Qatar to join me 7 weeks after I got there.
Julie, my team mate and friend has got this blog started with two very well chosen photos - me at my desk and Kerry enjoying a well deserved gin after a hard day of exercising, siesta and dinner preparation!!
