Naples - the good & the ugly!

Kerry writes: Something of a challenge to find B&B in Naples. Lyn was a total passenger all day but at least looked relaxed and confident!!

Walk to train station from hotel = 1/2 hour

Train to Naples with 18 stops = 1 1/2 hours

Finding a bus to Via Medina = 1/2 hour

Bus to Via Medina = 1/2 hour

At B&B by noon!! -looked so close on the map!

Checked out local attractions after having brilliant lunch of pizza & buffalo mozzarella cheese salad right next door to B&B.

Castle Nuovo just down the road took some checking out - the photo above that looks down on our part of the city was taken from the castle. Walked around the corniche to a big park. Mt Vesuvius looks down over Naples. All sites on walk reasonably impressive - kids playing in advance of UEFA Cup. Lovely sunny day - lots of young people, kids and families sunbathing on the rocks.

Lyn complaining most of day about sore leg / hip from Anacapri decent - Moana!
