We took the Funicular to the main castle above where we were staying - it took us a while to find a viewing spot down because the castle was closed. We chose to go into a restaurant with an outside view area. Noone came to help us so we took these photos of the view and left! back down the bottom in Principle Municipal we had a great seafood marinara dish - again washed down with a smooth Italian red.
All prepared for huge day tomorrow - Pompei and Mt.Vesuvius - I get the feeling this is why Kerry brought me all the way to Naples - but it has been worth the look around and the food has been the best sampled so far in Italy. Never mind the rubbish problem - you get used to seeing huge piles like the post photo below - and they are dealing with it! Trucking it to Germany I think - that should really thrill the Germans.
