03/06/08: Airport thing a little worrying given our last experience but managed to make it to Rome by the middle of the day. Found the Maryelen B&B easy having booked it on the internet the day before - no pre planning here!! Welcomed to Italy, unpacked and showered before heading out for orientation tour of the city. Down to the River Tiber and around most of the ancient city in three hour jaunt. Late pasta and salad dinner washed down with a good average Italian red.
